Moonriver has opened an HRMP channel between itself and Shiden network.
This will enable the transfer of MOVR from Moonriver to Shiden network through Astar network portal, as well as aiding the building of dApps on the Shiden network.
The Shiden Network native currency, $SDN will also be available to be used in the DApps built on Moonriver.
By opening more channels on Shiden network, Astar is preparing to bootstrap the launch of WASM projects with the recent Swanky suite announcement which is an all-in-one tool for WASM smart contract developers on Polkadot and Kusama,.
It also brings the various tools of the WASM ecosystem into a simple interface making it easy for developers to build the next generation of smart contracts.
Additionally the introduction of $MOVR as an XC20 asset on Shiden network makes for new liquidity which can be used in Astar’s EVM environment as well as natively with WASM smart contract.
This liquidity hub of XC20 is essential to developers using Swanky suites to build innovative dApps on Shiden Network
