Outlier Ventures, a project dedicated to accelerating the realization of the open metaverse has announced the launch of the third installment of the Polkadot base camp. Applications are open from the 20th of July to the 27th of August. The Polkadot Base camp accelerator is a program that was launched in 2019 with the sole aim of empowering innovators in web3 development. It has over the years collectively helped birth, finance, and launch nearly 100 protocols and startups built on the principles of Web3. This is just the beginning though, as, over the next 12 months, it aims to double that number and accelerate a further 100 startups from all over the world. Some of the major beneficiaries of the program include projects like Unique Network, Polkadex, and Fragcolor
There are several benefits to joining the program, as participants get an initial One hundred thousand dollars in immediate funding to cover costs, as well as an additional two months of fundraising support. Projects also get access to Polkadot’s network of web3 builders and investors, as well as opportunities to form strategic partnerships with other companies in the Outlier Network. Additionally, participants get several one-to-one tailored sessions with Outlier’s technical specialists to support design, building, and scaling, with general mentorship from some of the more successful projects in the Polkadot ecosystem including Acala, Moonbeam, and Astar Network.
